TESTIMONIALS

Jeremy offers a top quality service. I have received numerous treatments from him including Jin Shin Jyutsu, Craniosacral Therapy and deep tissue massage. My first treatment from him was amazing for its healing effects. Pain that I had experienced for over a year and a half was 98% better. Subsequent treatments have built on that first treatment and continue to cure. He is a great guy as well, and I highly recommend him to anyone, including my own patients. His services are very affordable too.

Jeremy ROCKS!! I've been going to Jeremy for my carpal tunnel problem and my sore running legs for almost a year now and he has a unique style. He relieves my muscle pain effectively without my feeling like I'm being beat up by my massage therapist, like I have with some other ones. He's professional and definitely knows what he's doing. Highly recommended!

Jeremy's bodywork is a ritual of transformation. In those 90 minutes, he moves the energy, releases the tension, gets to the source-- and you literally feel like you are back in the womb. He is amazingly skilled and his services a great value. Thank you, Jeremy!

As an athlete, dancer, and performing musician, I've had lots of different bodywork over the years. Jeremy's approach is unique and provides a type of healing not found in typical "massage" sessions. Jeremy practices Jin Shin Jyutsu, and coupled with his very personable manner, the sessions I've had with him yielded great results for some neck and shoulder tension I've been battling for quite a while. In addition, Jeremy shows a lot of caring and interest in helping you understand just what's going on with the body and how his treatment relates to your whole being. Highly recommended!

Forget those froofy spas where the massage therapist doesn't even remember your name at the end of the day. Jeremy is an experienced private practitioner who works with you on a personal level, to address your specific health concerns. His modalities focus on healing the whole self: body, spirit, and mind. I have been seeing Jeremy for many months now and the differences in my energy level are apparent. There is a significant reduction in the joint pain I've been struggling with. I've had a ton of bodywork and this surpasses any outcome, from any other practitioner.

The therapy that Jeremy offers is something I highly look forward to on average every two weeks. I suffer from chronic head, neck, and upper spinal back pain (aren't I lucky?) and have tried many modes of therapy over the past 6 years. With incredible luck I found Jeremy! His sense of knowing where to locate your centers of tension and pain, in conjunction with an incredibly peaceful demeanor (and he's funny too), puts you right at ease within, oh, the first 2 minutes of getting on his table. The way I've described the therapy to friends is that it takes the best of acupressure and Shiatsu (i.e., therapy is given clothed/without oil), and combines them with very deliberate concentration on those areas where your body needs the most help. I highly, highly recommend him!

Choosing the right therapist for you is important. The therapeutic relationship can be as imperative as the method of treatment itself.

JEREMY STRICKLAND, CMT

I love my work and my enthusiasm is evident in every session I give. My career in the healing arts began in 1994, by attending the nationally accredited Austin School of Massage Therapy, in Austin, Texas. The core curriculum centered on techniques of deep-tissue massage, sports massage, and Swedish massage, with a focus on relevant anatomy and physiology.

As I became fully emersed in the field of massage therapy I began to explore several modalities of bodywork. Of the many theories that offer comprehensive approaches to treating the whole person, or issues other than muscular conditions, two have held my attention captive: craniosacral therapy and Jin Shin Jyutsu. A profound experience receiving Craniosacral Therapy treatments prompted my enrollment in the Upledger Institutes' training for Craniosacral Therapy, and I completed levels I & II in 1997 and 1998.

In 1999 I began to study the art of Jin Shin Jyutsu Physio-Philosophy. I soon discovered that this art is more than a method of bodywork, it is an "Art of Living". JSJ offers a way of Being to help Myself and to help others. I obtained a practitioner certification in 2001, and continue to study and practice daily.

Throughout my fourteen years as a professional body-worker I have gathered experience in a variety of settings: alongside chiropractors, within sports massage clinics, in luxury day-spas and ultimately, private practice. As pro bono work I have provided Jin Shin Jyutsu treatments via the Glide Health Clinic in San Francisco for individuals struggling with a wide variety of health conditions. In addition, I have participated in a touch program for infants at UCSF's Children's Hospital.

On a more personal note; I incorporate a practice of Ashtanga Yoga into my schedule and when I can, study western music theory while playing the piano.
